The Packshot Studio was established in 2007 by photographer Sybe Bakker as a specialist product photography studio with a specific focus on serving the needs of the wine industry.

The concept was simple:

• Offer technically and aesthetically excellent product photography
• Provide exceptional service
• and do so at reasonable prices.

On these basic principles, The Packshot Studio opened the doors to its first studio in Stellenbosch, with only a handful of clients, a vision and a whole lot of energy and enthusiasm.

Since those early days, The Packshot Studio has established itself as the dominant player in the wine photography arena. 2009 saw the opening of our second studio in Porterville, specifically to service the Swartland and West Coast regions and a fully mobile studio for on location shoots. Our client list continue to grow and includes many of the dominant players in the Stellenbosch, Swartland, West Coast and Durbanville wine regions.

We are very good at what we do and we are proud of what we have achieved in just under six years... but that said, we are deeply indebted to our clients who have supported us over the years, who gave us a chance when we were the new kids on the block and who, over the years, have allowed us to represent them and their brand both locally and internationally.
